10 Unique Valentine’s Day Ideas

Do you ever get tired of buying the same old Valentine’s Day gifts for your sweetie? I’m sure that she gets tired of receiving the same gifts year after year. Here are 10 great Valentine’s Day ideas that are sure to make her feel special on her special day.

1. Cut out little pink and red heart notes. Write clues and messages on the hearts in obvious places for her to find. Send her on a treasure hunt with the notes. End up the evening with dinner, music, and dancing. Goal – make it fun and make her feel special.
2. Make a special present with the date and a short inscription on it. Suggestions- candles, small wooden box, etc.
3. Make a CD for her and write a note about how each song reminds you of her.
4. Play a romantic card game that allows you to share fond, loving memories about your dating years, or early years of your marriage, and ends up with you taking parts of your clothing off and lying in bed next to each other.

You can use your own pictures and create your own poetry. Or, for the less creative, you can always use famous quotes from other’s romantic poems online.
7. Do a role play and pretend you’re on your first date. Recreate everything down to the last detail.
8. Watch a romantic movie with your Valentine. One that you both enjoy. Make sure you have plenty of popcorn and lots of tissues for the tears she will most certainly cry.
9. Take a bath together that you have prepared with rose petals or rose scented soap, or bath-gel. Have the bathroom well light with candles and have soft music playing in the background.
10. Finish the night of with a evening of passionate love making. Give her all the attention that she needs and desires – before, during, and after you make love.
